WSQ Food Safety Course Level 2 builds on the foundation of WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 to drive a deeper understanding and greater application of food safety principles. Food handlers interested in upskilling can attend WSQ Food Safety Course Level 2, which will equip them with the know-how on conducting food safety checks in personal hygiene, goods receiving, food storage and food handling.
WSQ FSC Level 2 is a one-time certification.
To equip food handlers with knowledge and skills on food safety and hygiene procedures and policies; so as to conduct checks on personal hygiene practices, usage of safe ingredients, safe handling of food, food storage, equipment and cleanliness of designated work areas.

The course aims to provide Food Handlers with advanced knowledge, enabling them to understand and apply food safety principles more comprehensively and effectively.
The course covers the following topics beyond those covered in WSQ FSC Level 1, including:
To fulfil the assessment requirements, in line with the Hygiene and Safety policies, participants are assessed on personal grooming and hygiene. Candidates are encouraged to adhere to the attire requisites stated below.
Any person who handles and prepares food and beverage in SFA-licensed food establishment i.e. Kitchen Managers, Supervisors, Chefs, Sous Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Assistants, Food Stall Assistants and all food and beverage handlers.
At the end of the course, candidates will be required to undergo a 1.5-hour assessment consisting of a Practical Performance (PP) and a Written Assessment consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) and Short Answer Questions (SAQ).
Upon successful completion of the assessment and being certified 'Competent' candidates will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
No formal qualification - For classes conducted in English, participant should have the ability to converse, read & write in English.
